The Downloads page is where your customers retrieve their purchased downloadable items.If you are selling downloadable products, you must first display and sell them using the Catalog page type. The Catalog page type is completely integrated with the shopping cart. This can include ebooks, music files, documents and software.
 Although you won't find it in your index, a hidden Downloads page is automatically added to your website when you add a downloadable product to your catalog. When they purchase a downloadable product, they'll receive a link for this hidden page. However, if you manually add an accessible Downloads page to your website, your customers will be able to easily access their previously purchased products more easily.
