Send and Receive Email in Outlook 2007
  1. Click 'Tools' -> 'Accounts Settings'.



  2. In the 'Account Settings' window, select 'E-mail'  -> click  'New...'.



  3. Select 'Microsoft Exchange Server, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP', and click 'Next >'.

  4. Check 'Manually configure server settings' and click 'Next >'.



  5. Select 'Internet E-mail' and click 'Next >'.



  6. Configure your Outlook 2007 for IMAP or POP and SMTP Authentication


    User Information
    Your Name: [name that will be seen by email recipients]
    Email Address: [your email address]

    Server Information
    Account type: IMAP (recommended) or POP3
    Incoming Mail Server: mail.b.hostedemail.com
    Outgoing Mail Server: mail.b.hostedemail.com

    Logon Information
    User name: [your email address]
    Password: [your email password]

  1. Check 'Remember Password' and click 'Next >'.
  2. Click on 'More Settings...'
  3. Under Outgoing Server, make sure that 'My Outgoing Server (SMTP) requires authentication' is checkmarked and click 'OK'.
