Using Flash on Your Site

The Easy Editor toolbar has a button that makes embedding flash files (.swf) easy.

  1. Go to the to edit the page you want to insert Flash on.
  2. Within the Easy Editor, place your cursor where you want the file embedded and click the 'Flash' button (looks like an 'f').
  3. The Flash Properties window opens. Click the 'Browse Server' button.
  4. The file uploading window opens. If you've already uploaded your file through the Multimedia page it will be listed here.
    If you haven't yet uploaded your file, click the 'Browse...' button at the top of the window, select the file you want to upload from your computer, and click 'Open', then click 'Save'.
    Click an uploaded file to select it.
  5. You'll be redirected to the Flash Properties window. Your file URL is now listed and a preview of your file is shown in the preview pane. You can resize the file by entering numbers in the 'Width' and 'Height' fields. Click 'OK' to embed your file.
  6. Click 'Save' on the editing page to see what your page looks like.
