Payment Processing Options for AUD$

You've got several payment processing options, but first of all, you'll want to make sure that your shopping cart is set to deal in the Australian Dollar. If you don't have the option of choosing your currency please contact Support.

Here are your options for charging in Australian funds:

SecurePay Integrated Payment Gateway - For real-time Australian dollar credit card processing.

PayPal - Use an existing or create a new PayPal account and use the integrated PayPal feature.

Manual Processing - If you have a merchant account and either a virtual terminal or physical terminal (like the ones you see in stores) to process credit cards, you can set your credit card processing to Manual Processing. Our cart collects all the order information and then on your terminal you can process the payment.

New Internet Gateway with Merchant Account -You can sign up with an internet gateway that also has sign-up for a merchant account. It is fairly common now to have a company that provides both services. This option allows you to process credit card charges in real time. You would insert their buttons on your site using HTML code and would not use our integrated shopping cart. There will likely be some combination of set up, per transaction and/or monthly fee with this option. It is also usually the most expensive method as you are paying for a merchant account plus an internet gateway. It's also likely to be the most time consuming as far as set up, since you'll need to add buttons manually.
